The 17th edition of "FabrianoinAcquarello 2026" opened on Friday, April 24, in Fabriano, where it began as an experimental project back in 2010. During the festival, the historic center is transformed into an open-air creative laboratory, an opportunity to discover the city and its long tradition of handmade papermaking.
Zona Conce museum hosts a rich selection of works by talented artists from around the world, who share the same passion for a traditional and innovative artistic technique: watercolor. This 17th edition will present the International Watercolor Collection, a major exhibition bringing together works from numerous countries, demonstrating the contemporary vitality of watercolor.
After the festival in Fabriano, some of the participating artists will take part in an art tour around several locations in Lazio from April 27th to May 1st, with painting sessions and meetings dedicated to the art of watercolor.
The Zona Conce exhibition will be open until June 14th, 2026, offering visitors the opportunity to discover works from around the world and explore the connection between watercolor art and Fabriano's papermaking tradition.
